The warm light adds so much to the snowy landscape here! What a beautiful view to take in!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Steven! I really felt it lovely!
J'aime la première photo et la couleur des arbres.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Martine! Yes, the light was very warm on the trees!
This was a nice spot...smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You always find the best spots!
When you get to pick your spot and the photographer tells the story! I love it for you both, Elizabeth.

I agree with Steven. I think these sessions helps Frank to overcome his love for the English hills and mountains.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Louis!! Well - maybe not overcome... but find equality in the diversity!
Frank is the picture of relaxation and the view - well!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: All of that... yes!
Excellent images, Elizabeth. I've never associated the Canyon with snow but yet here is Frank appearing to be waist deep in the stuff, haha.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Beverly! Oh it gets snow! The south rim is at 7,000 feet... and the north rim is 8,000. They actually close services on the north rim in the winter time because the roads become impassable!
