"Power isn't in brute force and money.

Power is in your spirit.

Power is in your soul.

It's what your ancestors, your old people gave you.

Power is in the Earth; in your relationship to the Earth"

A wider view...how interesting!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Ray!
C'est plus joli décoré ainsi.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes, I think so!
Good comp' Elizabeth, this place is always interesting.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - and I love that the art changes!

She's a real live-wire, I'd say Elizabeth. Is that hemp activism sensible or legal?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: She is, indeed!
Well - Industrial Hemp is regulated and a has a very low THC content. It's used fiber (textiles and clothing), food and other non- THC medicines. So it is actually, both sensible and legal! smile

I like this point of view very much, Elizabeth and thank you for the link. Winona is a very powerful lady and very educated....( powerful as in "she knows what she is talking about)
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Astrid - I agree with you! She's really something!

Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to paint those tanks.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - and the artwork changes, There are new murals on it almost every time we pass them!
Donner une belle image est bien vu ...bravo l'artiste
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Claudine! I could not find who the artist was, sadly.
I think the world...and particularly the US need more like her
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Absolutely, Bill

Someone has been busy.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Artists on the Rez will use anything as a canvas. I love it. The art on these tanks change - and we enjoy exploring each new "piece"
Many a true word spoken. That must have taken some sorting out to fit all those words in on that silo.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Certainly! Yes - some good planning!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes! I really liked this one! The art on these tanks changes regularly, and we enjoy exploring each new "piece"
Is it supposed to be blood that the words are written on? Love that fellow's voice on the Local Boys. Very nice duo.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I don't think so - it's a profile of our San Francisco Peaks in a purplish color...
Aren't they great! We purchased the most recent CD, and it's so soothing!
A fine installation.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I really liked this one!
What a fascinating life Winona LaDuke has led, Elizabeth. You've posted a thought provoking image for today.
