The North Rim hosts only 10% of all the Grand Canyon Visitors.
It is more remote and more difficult to get to, with limited lodging and services
that are closed completely during winter. All of those being reasons to attract
people like Frank and I, but more so, we find the North Rim to be somehow
more Majestic. Perhaps because it is a thousand feet higher in elevation -
so you can see that much more. Maybe the colors appear more rich with the
different angle of the sun. I'm not exactly sure why. It doesn't matter why.

Rim last week... here is the same Canyon from the North Rim.
