Gardens of Santa Fe

'To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow' - Audrey Hepburn #Quotation #Garden

As our "big day" approaches... I may be more absent than

present on ShutterChance...  I do try to look

in at everyone's photo's - but may not have time to comment.

My apologies - thanks for understanding!   :-)

I do like this veranda ceiling, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Pretty, isn't it, Ray?
I quite like this colonial style Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Santa Fe style has always been one of my favorites - I love the rounded corners and arches, the heavy use of timber!

A real rustic-type verandah
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I love that - Santa Fe style is one of my favorites!
This is rather an elegant garden E
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I love how neat and clean these gardens are. Heavy use of container gardening to conserve water.

It looks very homely, Elizabeth. Also very cool in what I would imagine to be a hot place.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Santa Fe style is very comfortable, yet elegant. You are right - the thick adobe walls are very insulating and the porches always have a nice wide shady effect.

Looks a shy place to escape the heat of sun.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Lovely and cool, eh?!
