Nice to meet your brother Adam and his friend.
His smile makes him look handsome smile
Great location to meet smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He is quite handsome, I think! smile
And it was a terrific day out!
So nice to meet your brother, Elizabeth. Is he also from Tuscon...and if so, you mean he had never before seen the Grand Canyon????
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Adam lives in the Black Mountains outside of Asheville, NC with his husband Jon. Laura and he were classmates at the Creative Writing Institute at Warren Wilson College. He thought he'd come out for a visit to Laura and I... and to see the great state of Arizona!

Nice and friendly collage. Well, what can I say - you are more beautiful than he is.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Louis! You are way too kind! smile
You sure do take your people to the nicest photo booths. We have only snow banks here. Nice to meet the bro.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile I suppose it would be hard to beat the Grand Canyon as a backdrop... but snow banks can be alright too!

What a young brother you have - and you look as young as his "wonderful friend".
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You are so sweet to say... He's a year older than my daughter... and I could easily be Laura's Mom! smile
so sweet.. Hello Adam.. Your sister is awesome
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Awe - YOU are so sweet! Thanks Ronky!
A fine quartet of images Elizabeth, you really do look as young as Laura, it must be that Arizona air.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Brian! You are too kind! Funny you should say that about the Arizona air... there's a T-Shirt in Phoenix that has two skeletons in a golf cart that says "But honey, it's a DRY heat..."

I'm surprised that Adam had never seen the Grand Canyon before smile But then I suppose living in NC perhaps he does not get out west much (but you're there wink ) Looks like you all had a good time.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Adam's not typically a big traveler, like I am. He'd come to Arizona to visit me some 20 years ago - but I lived in the Phoenix area at the time, so we didn't make it up to the Canyon that trip. We did have a lovely time - just love that kid! smile
