London Here We Come

Enjoying the train ride to London,

Frank readies himself for his VISA interview at the US Embassy,

and I look forward to spending a few days exploring !!

I'll not post many of the typical London sites -

you've been there.... done that...

I'll show some odds and ends that I found interesting.

i love it Elizabeth... if you took the picture from the other seat the view out the window would be a crisp landscape... but i like it this way... i shows the motion of the train....

i like your travel bag....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Peter! It was the motion I wanted to show, we were speeding right along...

The travel bag was what Virgin served our lunch in! Kind of cute, eh?!

Ah...nope!

I have not been to London, unless you count an hour waiting in an Immigration queue at Heathrow...

Really like your travel snap though, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: 't's a-ight!! You've seen plenty I'm sure!

Thanks Ray!!
The perfect tourist suit case...I love it Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that cute?! It's what our lunch came in on the train! Thanks Richard!
I like this shot, it makes me feel like I am sitting next to you.

Some London shots would be nice, as I have never been there.

What an interesting bag, it reminds me of my grandmother's baggage. You are well prepared to explore this metropole!
You're at a great start here, Elizabeth, especially with a DK book at your fingertips. We have a whole shelf of those wonderful books!

This sounds like a great day out....Frank doing the hard job and you taking the back roads. That is a fancy lunchbox. Great still life and love the movements
I will wait with interest E
Isn't it nice to get settled down by a train window

Only one coffee. So where is Frank's Laphroaig?
I have not been there, done that. Did you visit the Queen?

Nice opening shot to the series.
I love London
I like this Elizabeth, I hadn't thought that Frank might have to have some sort of interview for his visa. You can show some London shots please, we have rarely been back since Maureen finished working there in 1976 and me in 1977, we met working in the same office, as you do.
I am sure you'll find interesting stuff...

Oooeeer... 1st class! I like the travel case.. some sort of freebie from Virgin Trains? Looks like the train is moving; a rare thing for commuter trains in the south east smile
A lovely composition. As you say, we have seen lots of familiar London sites, this is a nice change.
Clearly well-prepared!
