Not a lot of whales in Wales, then, if Wales looks like this, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Perhaps the Wales whales have erected this monument to themselves?

Love the colors in this shot. Also the striations in the clouds echoing the striations in the rock. Reflections gorgeous...nice!!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Bonnie!!!! I think I got lucky on this, as Frank was driving about 65mph!
Nice contrast of the rough rocks with the puffy soft clouds.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Hollie! Thanks for noticing- I do think that's what makes this so interesting!

Peter must have had a smooth driver to get his shot, Elizabeth...Meanwhile I was frustrated at not being able to take any! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Of course he did, Mr. Croston - only the best! smile
Not anywhere near you in Arizona, then, Elizabeth??!! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: WAY too much moisture to be mistaken for Arizona! smile
Looks a tough one to crack Elizabeth from this angle. it would be a nice challenge.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Wouldn't it?! Perhaps one day soon... smile

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It certainly is! Beautiful!!!
above tree level
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Or just too rocky!
This is just amazing Elizabeth... wow!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Ronky!
I'm so glad Frank took the scenic route to Holyhead, it is magnificent scenery, for several years we made sure we went to the Snowdonia area at least once every year, we never tire of it. Big hint, when time allows go back and have a proper look round, so different than the lakes, oh and lots of little steam railways smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Me too, Brian! It was truly beautiful! I'll keep your tip in mind!
Craggy stuff!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Craggy indeed!
Yes Wales takes a lot of beating if it stops raining smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: HA! I'll keep that in mind!
