So muc to see in this great shot, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Just an amazing place Ray! Hard not to get a ton of stuff in one image!
I love the way that you framed just half of the dome Ellie... i like the curves in the marble on the column below the cross....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Peter!! Isn't that marble interesting?!

How did you know where to begin looking, Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I didn't! I was a mad snapper- I did try to maintain good composition and quality of images, and at moments we did just really breathe and take it in! But I couldn't resist a photo of this, and a photo of that... smile
Great shot! I like the composition and details of this one...

You have made a fantastic series of Florence !!!

Saludos!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Eduardo! I'm so glad you think so - I'm sure some people must be thinking "Oy, enough of Florence already"! But I don't care - I think it's incredible!!! Happy Day to you!!
Like the composition very much. It gives the impression of what a treasure trove of a place this is. (:o)
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Rosalyn - I appreciate your compliments!

So much to enjoy in this one. I like ring of figures around the column.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Alan! I haven't found any history on the Cross on the column - I'm sure there's a story!

It all looks so clean & considered Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Most things seemed rather well thought out in my opinion- but can often appear quite haphazard! smile
nice POV
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much C.H.! smile
A lot to view on this one Elizabeth like the composure of it, is the circular window the same as the one the other day.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Pedroeric! This is actually a smaller side window. Windows and Rosettes everywhere! smile
So much to see, so little time! I can imagine your quandry when taking this Ellie, but you did well, it makes for an interesting shot, the way you have composed it. You did good kid!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you sooo much Frank!! It was a bit difficult... but I ended up liking this POV!

This is an enticing view of the dome! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm so glad you think so Martin!!
Very nice Liz. What a spot!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Rob! Truly incredible!
A well composed shot, Elizabeth. The touch of gold at the top of the dome stands out very nicely against the sky. Lots of detail captured here.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Beverly!! I do wish the Gold Cross stood out a little more, but it was sort of a dreary, drizzly day.... so that's what I got! So happy you like it!!
Really nice selection of elements to make up the composition although I hope you won't be offended if I criticise the converging verticals which perhaps could be straightened up a bit.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Hi Brian! Thank you, and of course I'm not offended! I'm learning, and any advice is good advice! I'll reply to your email!
so much magnificence Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: And that's an understatement!! smile
Excellent shot with many things to look at Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Richard! So glad you think so!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Louis! I'm flattered!!
Did you see the model of his cupola? In one of the museums - fascinating.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: We did Tom! It was just incredible - the genius, especially for the time, is just staggering!
Lovely composition for an unusual view of the dome, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Graeme! I was hoping show a few things in a manner you all hadn't seen a million times already! smile
