It certainly has the blue of aerial perspective.
You and Frank are getting me into Lake District mood this week even though its another 6 months before we go there, I really like that little outcrop in front on its big brother mountain.
i like the first photo with the village and the clouds on the mountain Elizabeth... the sheep in the field make the picture on the bottom one....petersmile
The foreground could feature in a Chinese painting!
The russet tones look well in the murky lighting, its not all about sun and blue skies
Ask the expert, but to me it looks like a view of Hollin Crag at the foot of the wrynose Pass, near Little Langdale. Nice view.
