Looks like a nice getaway when one seeks tranquility away from the city life! Been a VERY long time since I've heard Norah's song. Thanks for the flashback!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was so very peaceful! Me too - I used to listen to that CD all the time! Thank you, Steven!
Un bel endroit pour se promener. J'aime le petit pont et le ruisseau.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes it is! Thank you, Martine!

Everything looks quiet and muffled, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: That's very much how it was!
Oh, yes, Elizabeth...to both your image and song by Norah!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Ginnie!

As for going away with you... I am afraid of that Englishman smile

Great... where should we meet? Perhaps at this bridge (Grasmere?)
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Close - This was the shores of Windermere!
You don't necessarily need sunshine for good pictures as you have demonstrated here E
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Bill! I'm developing that skill.... smile

A lovely bolt hole.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Chad!
A very peaceful looking scene, Elizabeth smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Martin - a peaceful place
beautiful photo of rural fog
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Alan!
Gosh! That is close water. I guess they do not worry about snow melt.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I suppose it is... this is up in the Lake District of North West England - and they do get snow, sometimes quite a lot, and several of the peaks have snow that stays all year 'round. Frank's snowy mountain peak images of last week were all taken in the Lake District. But perhaps this is as high as it gets?
What a delightful image, and just a hint of the lake behind in the mist.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Brian!
Lovely misty shot!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Tom!
