Beautiful architecture with great tones and textures! I love the warm light that emanates from the windows. That sign has my stomach grumbling. smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't it wonderful! The Lake District in Northern England.
Go get a snack... smile
It does look very inviting Elizabeth. An evocative capture.

Did you stay here, Elizabeth? Or sample their scones?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: No on both counts... we were just walking by!
You have no idea how my mouth is already watering for scones come July, Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh you and Frank can share my share... smile

This is beautiful, Elizabeth. I did a search for "Windermere". What a great place to be and I think the scones tasted good wink....
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh it's a beautiful place, Astrid! Just up the road from here is Ambleside... where Frank to me my very first day (and for three consecutive days) in England way back in March of 2013! We stayed at the Crow Howe Bed and Breakfast, and returned to stay in the same room 3 more times!

It looks very nice in there but the weather...well only Alan Rolfe would enjoy that
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's really beautiful! I finally got to experience the meaning of Frank's phrase "It's a fine rain, wot wets ya" There was such a fine, dense, wet mist, that you realized after 20 minutes that it was actually raining...
Humm...que c'est beau !!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh it is! If you get to North West England, I encourage a visit to the Lake District!
Looks like my sort of place.......Scones and jam and cream. What more could a lad want?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's beautiful there... you'll have to tell me how the scones are!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - isn't that wonderful!
Very dark, but cosy with the warm lights smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - I imagine it was toasty and warm inside!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh it will be beautiful then!! Have you been to the Lake District? You're in for a treat! You know -we're having a SC meet up July 22nd... any change you could move your trip up a couple months?

This is old, merry England!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Indeed it is!!
Windermere is a lovely place to visit, especially when Scones, Jam and Cream area are available. Hopefully we are returning to Keswick for a few days in August, this time with a local coach company, Maureen doesn't fancy the drive there any more.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's just beautiful, Brian! I'm so glad you'll be able to stay again - and it'll be nice not to worry about the driving!
That is a lovely home with the lights on giving such warmth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't it? I love how warm and inviting it looks inside!
Cosy lighting!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very much so!
