These are similar to the ones I grow in the garden, Elizabeth. It is great as they seed and some up naturally every year
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Lucky you!!! They're so beautiful!
They are especially pretty with the purple lupins. I LOVE that grass!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - the color contrast is just wonderful, isn't it!
And I LOVE that grass, too!!!
Nice to see yellow Poppies instead of Red ones.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - these are Mexican Gold Poppies... very common for a brief part of the year in southern Arizona, southern California, and northern Mexico.

The two shots - the poppies hidden among so many heads of grass seeds and the one above it, are especially top notch.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Louis! I loved seeing the little golden blossoms peeking through the grasses!
Love the bright color and the contrast to the darker greens. Beautiful.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Just lovely, aren't they, Ruthie! This is all in the Sonoran Desert, which is 2nd only to the Florida Everglades for diversity of flora and fauna in North America! Coool, eh?!
Absolutely stunning!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm so pleased you agree!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Peter! Crisp and clean!
