Caturday

Nearly every day, Raina has a short lived burst of energy.  At the ripe age of fourteen, she seems to be quite healthy, and has even lost a little weight now that she doesn't have Bella's bowl to steal food from.  Her new favorite "toy" is a wrapped hard candy.  It makes a nice crinkly noise, is slippery and light enough to bat around and toss into the air, and gets stuck under the furniture predictably.  It's quite entertaining.  I'll post several shots that are super grainy because I took them with my phone and blew them up - but I think they're quite fun!

Lovely to see she's enjoying life
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: She does seem to be!
jolie prise de vue !
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you!
We used to call it the mad 5 minutes. I think it was Mac who used to suddenly rush into the house, across the living room and into the dining room and then rush back again into the living room. She would then sit there as if nothing had happened
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ha! That's great! They are such funny creatures aren't they?!
Does she hide it under the rug? Eekie, the mother of my girls, does that as a favorite playing alone technique. Hides it and seeks it over and over.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Sometimes - though I'm not sure it's on purpose. Aren't they just adorable!
Lovely shot!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Tom!
