Best Friends Forever (BFF), I bet, Elizabeth, flying their lives away! How delightful. Caught in the act of enjoying life.

I remember these, Elizabeth. The first time I saw them flying "in the wild". Often admired in the ZOO. You did a great job following them. I like the way the top right on has it's head up high, "ready to dive" wink...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They are so cool, aren't they!! Thank you, Astrid!

A lovely sight. I always like to see the different wing positions of a flock of birds in flight.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Me too, Alan - I'm fascinated with the different way different birds fly

Two great shots. Not a type of pelican that I know.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They're Brown Pelicans - a rather boring name... a North American species no doubt.

Love the playful position of the very top bird. Hard work to keep that beak up there.
