photoblog image A Haven for Aspens

A Haven for Aspens

... And Heaven for Me!

You all know how much I love Aspens....

And can imagine my joy at finding so many

in the  "Red Rock Country"  of Utah!

Going over Boulder Mountain Pass on Utah Hwy 12

- we crest an altitude of nearly 10,000 feet.

So the Aspens and Pines are very happy here!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They do seem happy there!
I did give one member a squeeze... yes! And I suppose - since these will all be sprouts from the same root system - i.e. one organism... I DID in fact hug them all! smile
So if you're not in the U.S..... That leaves much of the world... smile

They do look spectacular against a blue sky and a ground covering of snow even with no leaves.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Alan - just a lovely scene!
