It looks a trifle wet here
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Not something we're used to! smile
An unusually wet picture for you Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: So right! An unusually wet day! smile
More delightful countryside, you sure have plenty to go at
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Martin! Yes - we certainly do! Arizona, itself has a larger land mass than all of the U.K. And here we are venturing beyond it's borders this week. Loads of countryside, for sure!
Love that bit of cactus in the corner returning us to reality.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Good eye, Mary! Yep - still in the desert!
I like the platforms of rock in the bottom picture...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Me too, Larry - I LOVE seeing the layers of time... Can't wait to show you photo's of Utah, with Earth's history laid bare. At Goosenecks in Capitol Reef - one of the lowest layers, near the bed of the Fremont River is the same layer that actually tops the Grand Canyon! I wish I'd been smart enough to go into geology!
I particularly like the lower picture.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Brian! We don't often see enough water for waterfalls - but this winter there have been a lot of them, even if some are short like this one!
It is very sad that one of the victims in the terrorist attack in London yesterday was from Utah
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is all very sad, Bill. But, I must say, it sounds like the police reacted with great skill.
two great shots traveler... have a fun trip E & F....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Peter! We certainly are!
