Both pictures are wonderful. And I think GD Anderson is right. We don't need to made any stronger, we are strong.....
The door in the bottom picture has seen better days....
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Astrid! Yes she (he?) is right, and I agree!

Although I absolutely believe in equality of all humankind, including gender equality, I don't like "-isms" for the simple reason that they are doctrines designed by humans to convert other humans to their line of thinking, come what may. Many of them seemingly innocent, but can lead to atrocities. So my version of GD Anderson's quote would read: "Gender equality is not about making women stronger, but about valuing their qualities the same as other people's and acting accordingly." It probably sounds the same, but the demand of the "ism" is out of it.

That woman in the portrait reminds me of a woods nymph.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I see what you mean, Louis. I guess those who've been bitten, tend to have a bit of bite in their affect!

I kind of thought the same of the portrait!
Clever shot... maybe I should do a reflective series...smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Larry!
That would be great! I love reflections!
Now go play with your new toy and show us some!
Two great images based on an unusual concept, well done.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Brian! I'm so glad you think so!

Well spotted. I thought at first that it was a graphic on a van but i see now that the van is just a reflection. I like the metalwork in the second image.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm glad you fell for my ploy! smile
