photoblog image Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve!

Top Photo taken in Ambleside, The Lake District,  2014

We're expecting 6-12" of snow today... I hope it doesn't

melt as soon as it falls - like a few weeks ago.  I want

to wake up to a sparkly, white, Christmas morning!!

And so we don't miss Caturday.... Here's Tristan

climbing Rosemary & Terry's tree last year!

I like the bottom image, Elizabeth.

Our cats are out-of-sorts because they have to share house with 9 mewling, blind aliens at the moment...they have taken to sleeping outside at night, and Ginger Tom has vanished!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Ray!
I bet your cats are a little bit peeved! I'm sure they'll get over it... they always have, in the past! smile

I hope that snow doesn't melt for you Elizabeth. Here it is going to be unseasonably warm, which is a pity
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It hasn't so far, Chris!!!! We're at about 12" now!! Beautiful!

La première photo est magnifique. Les chats adorent les sapins de Noël. Joyeux Noël à  toi et à  tes proches !
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Martine!
Hard to keep cats out of trees...
Merry Christmas to you and yours, Martine!

Ha cats and Christmas trees... a great combination.
Great pictures and I do hope you will have a white Christmas. I googled 'White Christmas' in the Netherlands... remember we have two Christmas days. we have an official Weather institution and they measured from 1901 and both days the whole ground of the Netherlands was covered with snow, only 8 times both days, 2010 was the last time. This coming weekend the temperatures will be higher than the next Easter.... I do hope for ice in January or February....have a great weekend and celebrate in style smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh they are!! smile
Thank you, Astrid!
Whatever the weather... I'm sure you and Ginnie will have a wonderful time with your friends!

All very Christmassy today, Elizabeth. I do hope you get your wish for a White Christmas that sticks
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I thought it appropriate!!
Thank you, Lisl! We've got about a foot piled up so far... Yippeee!!!!
I hope it will be a White Christmas for you E.

Here we are awaiting the arrival of storm Conor which promises high winds and rain on the warmest Christmas day since about 1920.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well, Christmas Eve is certainly white - we've got about a foot so far! Can't wait to see what we wake up to!
At least you won't be freezing, then... smile

I can envy you enjoying White Christmas - one of my dreams! What a funny Caturday image! Enjoy your Christmas days together with Frank!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: We've got about a foot so far, Philine... It's beautiful!
Thank you - Merry Christmas to you!
Two lovely pictures Elizabeth, to be honest I don't envy you the snow, but I bet you were glad it was a cat in that tree and not what was in this one http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-4047026/Snake-disguises-tinsel-Australia-Christmas-tree.html
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Brian! We've got about a foot so far!!! It's so beautiful! I just love the snow - I wouldn't want as much as Peter gets, though. That's the thing I love about Flagstaff... we'll get a nice snow storm over a few days, then the sun comes out for a week... then we'll get a little more snow, then the sun comes out, we'll get more snow, but the sun always comes out! smile
Much as I don't mind them... I wouldn't want one in my tree! smile
Our Christmas will be white as the forecast changed - rain now turning to snow overnight.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: YAY! We've got about a foot so far! It's beautiful!
I do hope you'll wake up to a White Christmas... Something special about that!
A lovely Christmassy pic', my love. That Tristan's a rascal....Bring on the snow...I'm waiting!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Frank! Yes he is!
Have you got enough yet??!!! smile
Cats and trees... smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Lethal combo! smile
