C'est joli. J'aime ces tons de bleu et de doré.

1. Lovely sunset, Elizabeth!

2. How do you know that?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: 1. Thank you, Ray!

2. Because I've read the Bible, and while I'm not a Fundamentalist, I believe the way Christ is described, and the lessons he taught, to be true. He espoused love, compassion, forgiveness and inclusion. The "Christian Right", do not.

I do know what you're getting at... and won't get into a theology discussion. You and I have different beliefs and that's cool.

Very nice too Elizabeth

The words about the Christian Right reflect a huge truth that millions of your country-persons do not seem to appreciate..
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Lovely, eh?!

I'm trying to come to terms with the people who voted for Trump. Not very successful so far... but I'm trying. At this moment I am ashamed to be American. Which is very sad - because I was raised to be proud of who I am and where I'm from...

Sometimes it's easy to get too bogged down in things going on around you, especially this week, without stopping to appreciate natural wonders such as this. So beautiful.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is, Alan. I've not been myself since Tuesday. I feel a heaviness, a sadness, even fear.

Frank and I hiked down to Oak Creek south of Sedona (a much less popular area, so not many people at all), and the sound of the water, the colors of the fall leaves, were refreshing to body and soul.

What a beautiful sky! I agree with the sentence and I like your reply to Ray.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Philine!
Thank you...
Magnifique pour ce lever de jour
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so kindly - I'm very pleased you think so!
A lovely sunset.

I am not a religious person but the corruption of the world's major religions but fanatical lunatics is both saddening and deeply disturbing
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Bill!

I agree with you, Bill. Thank you for your thoughtful comment.
gorgeous and very serene, Elizabeth. this just made me take in a deep breath.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: thank you very much Ayush! I'm so pleased!
Another fine Sunday sky. Your sentence is very interesting and some comments only too true about some Christians today. I read the reading at church this morning, Genesis 6 v.1-8, and in that the Almighty was getting fed up with Man and was thinking about what action to take, one wonders what He thinks about some of these folks you refer to.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Brian!
"Jesus wept"... that's what I think He's thinking...
Hello!Elizabeth,
Love the colors and the forming of the clouds. Excellent capture!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: SUE!
Hey there - great to hear from you!

Glorious sky, Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Tom!
