photoblog image Such Beauty

Such Beauty

Really, simple things...

a creek, a barn, an outbuilding.

But thrown together with the heath and

the wildflowers.  The heather covered hills.

The filtered light and swaying grasses.

The feel of the humid air against my cheek.

The joy of being there with two people who's

company enriched my every step.  What on

God's green Earth could be more perfect?

Continuing with some images from our

hike through the Peak District with Alan Rolfe

Oh look.. here's the footpath - oh no, it's the parish boundary following the course of the creek (or stream as us Brits call it wink ) sad I was very touched with your words.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I don't think I'm even going to remember that part... except how cute you put it when you said you'd "blundered" - very English! smile
I'm happy let you know how you're appreciated!

This place is a painting, waiting to be made. You probably chose to go colour because of all the wild flowers, but I am also sure it will make an excellent b&w - well contrasted.

So, you will have him for the weekend...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that the truth!
Yes - I do love the color of the heather and the wildflowers... but to oblige you... what do you think http://elizabeth.shutterchance.com/blog.php?upload=1&itemRef=541078
