Aw, your boyfriend's at work, & you miss him? That's cute. Try being in a long distance relationship, then get back to me. (Yep. I totally just made this e-card):

You have presented this image beautifully, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Ray - it may be a bit boring, but I really loved the layers and the contrasting colors of the sand, the sea, and the sky

Magnifique photo, j'aime beaucoup.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Martine!
and a wonderful beach it is Elizabeth...
i love the layers... the walkers with the dog... and the tidal pools....petersmile

i would not do good with a long distance relationship... you are a dedicated couple!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Peter! The layers are what attracted me!

Well, we've been apart 91 days (not that I'm counting), since we were last together. And it's very hard. Very. But - if my sister can do it for 12 months... while her husband was being shot at every single day in Iraq... I can do this! In the end - he's soooo worth it! smile
A beautiful beach with solitary people Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Richard!

Very nice indeed, Eizabeth. I guess you enjoyed walking there
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Lisl! I did.... for about 5 minutes, after which the wind had nearly beat me to death, and my sweet husband had to warm up my hands for me! smile

That will be one happy dog
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh yeah!!!!
That's the time of year I love at the beach, Elizabeth, when almost no one else it s there. How wonderful!

And as you know, I totally get your poster!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Me too, Ginnie! My Dad and Linda have a time share at Virginia Beach - and typically go in the middle of December! smile

a wonderful photo - and what a wide view! I love the emptiness of the beach ...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Philine! Lovely isn't it!
A lovely picture of calm and we could do with that here at the moment.

Hope you and Frank are back in harness soon
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Bill - I'm glad I could bring a little calm to your day!

And thank you - me too...
Just a thought my Mum didn't see my dad for over 3 years during WW2 as he was in Burma and India
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh gosh - how horrible... I'll keep my chin up!
Hang in there kid, Frank will soon be with you.. If we ever move to Cornwall we will take you to see some beaches that blow this beach out of the. Water.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks for your vote of confidence, Michael!
Well if you move to Cornwall we'll be certain to visit!

The layers and the lone figures walking the dog. Excellent.
About that pink message - isn't it time to get the counter going?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Louis!

Unfortunately - the only counter I can have right now is how many days we've been apart. And that's sad and depressing. We are still not allowed to make travel plans for him, as he's not yet had his interview at the Embassy in London. So much for him being home with me for my birthday, the end of July. My prayer, now, is that we be together for our first anniversary the end of September. :-(
Great image of the layers of the beach, sea and sky. You've gained a great hubbie and an excellent photography tutor since you joined SC.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Brian!
Yes I have - how lucky am I?!
Fairly level and well washed twice a day
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: The best kind!!
