If you have young kids with you, they can amuse themselves by throwing crusts to the fishes...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well yes.... the ducks might appreciate that as well!

Jolie forme pour cette terrasse qui doit être bien agréable au bord de l'eau.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't it a lovely spot to stop for tea? Thank you, Martine!
A pleasant place to enjoy a cup of tea Elizabeth!

Awaiting customers
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes- we were there in between lunch and dinner time...
The railings are good to keep everyone safe Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very thoughtful, I think!

You're probably getting bored with me saying this but I've sat there, too. I was disappointed, though, that it was not table service - very poor!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: NO! I think it's great fun to know that I've followed the footsteps of such great men... smile
I agree about the lack of table service, but it apparently works for them.
This is a lovely place to sit - in the shade by the water, if one must sit.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I does seem perfect, after coming down from a long walk up the fells!

It looks a nice place to while away the time with a cup of tea and scone.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Absolutely - especially after a long walk!
This is nice, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Frank - so are you! smile
I wouldn't say no to enjoying a coffee there.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's a lovely spot!
It looks very civilised !
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Quite orderly and clean!
Nice arrangement and a fine brief poem...
