River Rothay

* And the back side of Cocoa Hearts chocolate shop!

Grasmere Village

The Lake District

Northern England

always:

OK*!   Got my computer back... dropped a new engine in her

(alright - I bought a new hard drive!)

Continuing to have minor anxiety attacks as I

try to find, download, install and integrate my

programs and files - but making progress!

I've been looking in - keeping an eye on you!  :-)

Jolie petite rivière. J'aime la lumière sur la maison.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was a very pretty scene, Martine! Thank you!
What a gorgeous scene, Elizabeth, and so idyllic! I want to go there (the Lake District)!

And bless your ever-loving heart. I think you should have another piece of chocolate! NO ONE would ask any questions. grin
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Ginnie - I could've just stayed there forever! So beautiful!
smile As chocolate is a true addiction for me, I have to be careful... smile

A charming view with those hills (or fells?) there in the background
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Grasmere is gorgeous, isn't it?! Frank can probably tell you what those are...
You are clearly mastering the use of light E
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh thank you Bill! Not so sure - I'll give my camera the credit! smile

Now I don't recall seeing the Cocoa Hearts chocloate shop before so an excuse to go back (not that I need one...) I like the light in this.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well I'm sure it's worth going back for! I didn't go in, as I'd just purchased some of the famous gingerbread and was quite content with that!
Thank you Alan!
The people living here are never short of water Elizabeth. Glad your computer is functioning gain.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Seemingly not!!
Thank you, Chad! Such a relief! I couldn't very well see your photos on my little iPhone!
What a lovely scene you are showing today. Good luck with the computer.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I could've just stood and stared for a long time!!
Making progress with the computer, thanks!

An excellent landscape. Chocolate doesn't ask silly questions ...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Louis!! Such a pretty place!
Chocolate is quite possibly... perfect!
I love that hint of mist in the background, it adds a nice mood to this delightful picture.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Brian! It does add a certain something!

It looks idyllic Elizabeth, though rather close to that water with the recent flooding we've been having.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was such a beautiful day, and a beautiful spot!
I didn't hear about any issues in Grasmere... I hope that means they didn't have any problems.
I wonder if they suffered in this year's floods? Fine pic, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I didn't hear anything about it in this village - I think they must have been OK. Thank you, Tom!
A lovely shot, Elizabeth, you captured it well.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, My Love!

Pfew.... I do not hope that it took tons of chocolate to go through time without computer....
A fabulous picture and I do hope that your problems are gone now... good luck, I know how you feel. (I hate computers...long story)
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Unfortunately I can't eat tons of chocolate... smile
Thank you, Astrid!
Still figuring out some things with the computer - but it seems to be humming along!
