Perfectly positioned house and sunshine
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I kept waiting for the sun to shine on the side of the hill!
Doesn't that house look so diminutive against these mountains Elizabeth?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It does! I mean - I come from the land of the Rockies... but you can't tell me the Lake District doesn't have mountains! smile

Oh wonderful! The patch of sunlight makes this for more. I've been on Lingmoor Fell several times and in both directions; it is fabulous.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Alan! I've seen views from the top on several websites - as I was researching what to call this - Frank and I will have to climb it next time!
The house in the distance is a fine focal point in this lovely picture E
