Hello, Toad!

I have four big ones living right near our front steps..I have lifted a piece of pottery enough for them to live inside, and they come out at night to feast on the insects drawn to our outside lights.

I love toads, Elizabeth, and your portrait of it is lovely.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They are cool creatures aren't they! Thanks Ray!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Richard! He stayed still a long time for me!

I can't understand anyone saying they hate frogs and toads, I find them attractive, interesting and they do a good job.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They are great little creatures, aren't they!
Quite a brightly coloured one.
