Crow How Sheep

This is the view we had every morning from the

breakfast room at  Crow How Country Guest House

in Ambleside.  Situated on the property of a working farm,

we would watch the sheep grazing, and the border collies at play.

While enjoying a made-to-order breakfast with perfect

coffee (NOT bitter!)   and pleasant servers.

I could live there...

a little paradise for sure - I like your image very much - I would like to book a room in this Guest House.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh it is! Thank you, Philine! Next time you go - you should check it out!

Such a lovely pastoral scene Elizabeth. I bet you enjoyed your breakfast there.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's really a wonderful way to start the day!
Lovely 'bones of trees' shot, Elizabeth. Watching lambs play, if there were any would seal the deal for me.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Mary! There weren't any young ones in this particular pasture - but there were in so many other locations!

What a delightful scene. I can't quite see if these are my friends the Herdwicks but any sheep does it for me smile I love the light in this. Do the owners re,member you for previous visits? Of course, you had single rooms, then ,... [ahem!] smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I believe they are Alan!
