the tender boat looks lonesome on the beach Elizabeth... the walker looks like he is wearing a suit... perhaps he owns the boat that the tender is used for...

either way... i am loving your 'Fun in the Fog' series....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Doesn't it just look lonely... I've no idea what the walker is wearing - He was throwing a stick for the little dog in the right side of the frame. I'm so pleased you're enjoying this series! Thanks Peter!

This is absolute wonderful, that orange boat is stealing the show for main this fog. This is poster worthy. The dog and the man are two lucky creatures, walking in the fog is so special ( to me).
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh thanks so much Astrid!!! I so glad you like it - I'm very flattered! I certainly enjoyed walking in the fog that day!!
Absolutely wonderful Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Richard!

This is fabulous!

The dinghy looks confused, as though it has been towed about on the sand by drunken louts in their Dad's Rangerover.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Ray!
I've no idea what was going on with the dinghy! Your scenario works as well as any!

You are fascinated by our fog, Elizabeth. Did you ever hear about the smog we used to suffer in our big cities?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Absolutely! I didn't know smog was such a problem in England- though it has been at different times in all big cities, I guess. And still is in China - just horrible!

Ha - just seen the dog!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile He's a little tough to pick out!
It looks like someone has run circles around that very photogenic boat, Elizabeth. The man and his dog sure knew where to pick their spot!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Funny, huh?! It looked like a perfect set up!

Left high and dry. I must admit I never saw the dog at first but now I see it, the chap, the dog and the boat work well together. I like the hint of sun coming through the fog.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: And I don't know why... smile
Thank you very much Alan- I found this sight pleasing!

Excellent. A beautiful composition in colour. The chap at the shoreline adds a touch of reverie tinged with sadness.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Mike!! I'm so pleased it evokes some emotion for you!
Wow, Buck', you have excelled yourself...This is like a painting, the more I look, the more I see...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Really?! Thanks so much, Frank! Credit to you for taking me there! XOX
Your lonely, foggy scene is very good. I love the tire tracks.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Mary! I really enjoyed all these foggy sights!
This is a beautiful photograph Elizabeth, my favourite of your foggy indulgences. That little daub of orange is heavenly. Not sure what the ghostly fence, top right, is all about.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Chad!! I'm so pleased!
The ghostly fence was along the side of the itty bitty bay - if you can call it that... Following along up over the fence you'd find yourself on the sea wall - and looking up further you'd see the castle and priory which are featured in Thursday and Fridays posts.

This has quite an other worldly feel to it Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Anne! It was certainly other worldly to me!
The classic composition using the triangle made by the man, the dog and the boat, with the boat in just the right place, excellent. (Wearing my camera club hat today)
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Camera Club man!!! I'm so glad you approve, and that it suits your sensibilities!
The little boat really pops out at you while everything else gradually disappears. Nice composition Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Janet!!

That boat ran aground in the fog.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Apparently!!
Stunning fog.. Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Ronky!!!
Nice picture

Grow up? ....NEVER!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Bill!

It's taken me a lot of courage to grow into the child I am! smile

Looks like it's straight out of a thriller movie, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I was too excited to be scared! smile
You need a video of Fog on the Tyne by Lindisfarne to go with this one smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile I hadn't thought about that!
