Lighthouses 4 / 5

 Same Lighthouse, Different Angle...

We drove through the Tunnel under the Tyne from North Shields

to the South Tynemouth Pier hoping the fog would clear enough to

be able to see either the North OR the South Lighthouse.

Again, the pier was fenced off, but we could at least see the

lighthouse on the North pier.

Those bars will not keep out those gulls; they will get through somehow smile . Looks like that once the fog does go, it looks like it could be a sunny day. Is that a larger ship further out at sea just appearing through the mist?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh yes - they are wily! You are right - without the fog, the sun was quite warm!! That larger ship had just pulled out of the Tyne - but then it seemed to "park" there for a long time. Don't know why?
Lighthouse behind bars, what is his crime? LOL
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: HA! Good one Chantal! It's crime was hiding in the fog from us most of the day! smile
An interesting viewpoint Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Martin! Best I could do! smile
A nice sense of this view being barred by railings, but of course we can still see. Fine image Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Chad. I thought it added a little interest!

I reckon you and Frank could have easily gotten over this puny fence, Elizabeth...wouldn't that have been fun!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I wish!! Actually it had spiky things strategically placed all over it. As an example... http://elizabeth.shutterchance.com/photoblog/517014.htm
But yes - it would've been great fun!!!
Makes a great view throught he bars Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Janet! I thought it added a bit of interest! smile

How very ghostly it looks.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Kinda strange and hazy, huh?
It is sad you had to see this from a jail cell.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes, well... my crime of stealing Frank's heart carries a lifetime sentence! smile
This is a well taken opportunity, and you got a little boat in as well, oh and a straight horizon, yippee smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Brian!! YES! A straight horizon!!! smile
More frustration...I see you found the borders then...smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Oh well - had fun anyway didn't we! YES found the borders!!! Thank you!
Great POV! Very creative.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Hollie! Had to make the best of it! smile
