Amazing how calm the water is. You really captured the reflection beautifully.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Hollie! It was a rather calm day for Northern England! The little marina was well protected by sea walls.

This is a fabulous shot, the reflection is perfect. No wind that might be rare too.
The scene from 'the Nanny', I used to watch that, just because of the butler😊
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Astrid! It was pretty calm - being it was Northern England.
The Butler was the best part!

What a beautifully calm day it was Elizabeth. Lovely Boat Friday
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was a wonderful day, Janet! Thank you!
I'd always imagined Whitehaven to be a pretty awful sort of harbour, this part certainly isn't.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I guess at one time it was. But they've worked hard to clean up the marina and make it inviting.

Poor Shakespeare ...

Your main picture is just great with all the slightly wrinkled reflections.

Looks all very calm; barely a ripple on the water. Whitehaven used to be a coal exporter apparently they were may colleries in the area.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Pretty isn't it!
That's what I was reading - but what we saw was quite lovely!

Boats on calm water - the only way I can cope with boats smile

Lovely reflections
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I don't have much experience- but I imagine I'd feel the same! I rather like Terra Firma! smile
thank you!
Nicely captured, love, I enjoyed this place after years of just driving past it, the reflections are great.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you My Love! I'm so glad we stopped here, thank you for taking me! XOX
Wow - what reflections!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Not bad for the North East, eh?
