Jesuit Church of The Immaculate Conception

I should have posted this at Christmas...  ah well!

I spotted this lovely side door while Frank was sweating out

his Visa interview at the American Embassy in London.

My high school class mate, Ying Lew, and I strolled around

the area in the heat, catching up on the last 30 years.

It was beautiful!

It looks very busy, Elizabeth...is there some immaculate conceiving going on there?

So much work has gone into this
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: So intricate!!!
To see this while waiting would have been totally worth it, Elizabeth...especially now that you can look back on the whole ordeal! Good for you. I would have been short of eyes.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh completely Ginnie!
Ying and I made the best of our time - poor Frank... smile
But yes - all water under the bridge for now!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't it beautiful!
Poor guy - while Ying and I wandered around for a couple of hours, chatting and laughing - poor Frank was sat sweaty palmed with 400 of his best friends - wondering what to expect! smile

So much packed into such a small space and each one individual.

Ah... now I have been here; it is a little gem and almsot hidden away. I must dig out my interior shots. I love the details around the arch. Good for you that you had your high school friend there to help you take you mind off the visa application.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You know - I was thinking the same thing, and I can't even think of the name of the place - perhaps you can enlighten me?! It was really wonderful to catch up with Ying!
Beautiful arch and stonework isn't it. Lovely find Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It really is pretty - I was so taken with all the Angels!

This looks so intricate. Lovely picture Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was so pretty - I found it odd that was on a side door that didn't look used much. Thanks Anne!
Isn't that just beautiful work Elizabeth. We have similar shaped images today, both of beautiful churches.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes!! Because beautiful churches abound! smile
Good details...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you sir!
