What's missing:

#1...beer

#2 ...ole Siobhan's understanding of when "your" is supposed to be spelled "you're"

#3...ole Frank [possibly plumb tuckered out from trying to keep pace with his fit, young podner...]...hope he makes a speedy re-appearance...

smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: #1.... That would be for you... Frank and I might share a root beer...

#2.... I always choose not to correct the grammar and punctuation in quotes. But as I've found it on the web, I can't say it was Siobhan's error either - it could've been reproduced 100 times before it reached my computer.

#3.... Young Frank will be back soon. Nothing wrong with his energy or stamina- just a lack of inspiration at the moment. Sort of a "writer's block" of photography - in search of something new and different!

Great!

Thank you for clearing up those points, Elizabeth. smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You're very welcome Ray! smile
You'll share soon a pint with him Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: 57 days.... not that I'm counting! smile

Yes - keep encouraging Frank you get his inspiration back Elizabeth. I'm missing him already..
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'll do the best I can, Chris! Thanks for missing him... I may be biased but I think he's in the top tier of photographers. Perhaps because he's hypercritical of his own work. This very thing probably explains his absence right now. If it isn't really good in his mind - it's not worth posting.
Make mine a pint of bitter.
I struggle with material from time to time, I make it even harder by setting myself the task of using bang up to date rather than archive material, I think I may have to change this one day.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'll keep that in mind, Martin!
I know what you mean... Sometimes it is difficult to feel I'm putting up images that will appear fresh... when I've been staring at them in my files for months or even years. But the fact is - no one else knows they're not new... people will only look at the content and decide if it's pleasing to their eye or not. So get into those archives... Let's see what you've got!! smile
What? Empty beer glasses?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm sure it's a rare event in London! smile

Only one thing missing Elizabeth cheers.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I understand Pedroeric! smile
I am not a beer girl
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Me neither... unless it's root beer or ginger beer (the non-alcoholic kind). But then there's the Mojito! smile
looks like it might have been a really dark place, great shot under the circumstances, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: The light was kind of funky, actually... It was a sheltered "mall" at Covent Garden - and a gray, cloudy day. So weak light filtered in from either end of the mall - bouncing around a little in the middle. Thank you for noticing!

I don't think it is so common to see tankards in pubs up here these days
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It seems so... not being a beer drinker, though - I don't pay much attention, honestly! smile
What is missing is not far lost... Elizabeth... it's like winter missing spring....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh you are so right, Peter! Thank you, as always! smile
I hope you enjoyed Covent Garden, there's always something going on.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: We really did, Brian! I'll enjoy going back!
I like my beer in a straight glass not a jug.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'll keep that in mind Bill!

What? No wine glasses and this is London? I could understand it up North where they probably still have sawdust on the floor but not in my capital smile

Have I missed something about Frank?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm sure they were there somewhere.... smile

Frank's just taking a break from SC... not feeling very inspired right now. Trying to focus on other things. Tasks like getting the house, garden and finances in order in preparation for another extended leave smile

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you!
