Chaplin and Pal

A gray day in London...

We work our way through the crowd to see what all the excitement is about.

A brilliant Charlie Chaplin impersonator  (Diego Andres Spano)

is entertaining.  The guy he pulled out of the crowd was game,

and equally as entertaining, as you can see!

I found this video someone else took on a different day...

A fun start to Monday, Elizabeth - hope it makes you laugh again!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Lisl! I'm so glad you think so!

It does make me happy to see "Charlie" - and remember being there with Frank! I definitely am having more weepy moments this time around. But I also have more joyful memories to grasp onto!

A great format to capture the performance. I was trying to pick my favourite, but I think they make best sense as a group.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Mike - so glad you think so... I agree, not one of them would stand up on it's own, but they work well together!
Brilliant stuff E. Like Stan Laurel and Cary Grant Chaplin was English

Chaplin is my hero and he is doing a great job, even for him to be in B&W (almost like selective colouring) is a well thought thing.
Great set of pictures to show the interaction and the video is great.
I bet you had a great time watching smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh I'm so glad Astrid! I was actually happy for some gray skies- I think a sunny day would have been garish...
Thank you very much, Frank and I really enjoyed him!

I cracking montage. This must have been a riot. They have some excellent street entertainers in Covent Garden. I'll have to watch the video later.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Alan! It was so much fun!

Sometimes ELizabeth, the chap they pull out of the crows is their accomplice. Do you think that could be the case here.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I wondered that. If it's true - he certainly had me snowed!
