A Day At The Park

Thanks to everyone for continuing to stop by and comment!

We're still having difficulty with the internet... every other picture

I try to look at on ShutterChance times out, and I'm afraid after a

long day at work I just don't quite have the patience to keep

trying- at some point I have to go to bed and start all over again!

Don't give up on me...  I'll keep trying to find time...  :-)

Really like this street image, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Ray! I'm glad you do - you know I don't usually have the guts for street shots, but this one presented...

It is always pleasing when all types of people can gather in a social space ELizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think so too, Chad! I love parks for that very reason!
Rest and movement all in one. Very nice.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Jacquelyn!
boom shakalaka Elizabeth... great B&W... have a great weekend....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Boom shakalak!!!!!! smile Thanks Peter!! you too!

When you see a picture like this, you realise just how vital city parks are, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Absolutely, Lisl!
You'd think it was the middle of summer already, by the looks of it, Elizabeth. Dutchland is the same way. As soon as there's a hint of warmth, everyone is outside to soak it up.

So sorry about your internet issues. Since it's been going on for so long, what's the prognosis???
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I can imagine! In Wyoming, once it hit 60 degrees we were in bikinis on roof tops! smile

They told us a couple weeks ago, that they hoped to have it fixed in a couple weeks.... Weeeeeee're Waaaaaiiitiiingg!!!! smile

a lovely observation - but such a crowded park. I'm sorry that you are still having difficulty with the internet, but you have Frank with you - that's all!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Philine!
You are so right - we can at least entertain each other!

A lovely hat she's wearing - very agreeable!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think so, too, Chris!
If you can do it once you can do it again Ellie, but having a boom box over one shoulder and a camera over the other sort of gives the game away.Boom Shakalaka what the hell are you and Frank up to.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well, I'll keep trying. Perhaps my boom box needs to be a bit smaller!

I'll never tell... smile

Goodness! It is so busy! So many people enjoying the park. I think this must be a SUnday as the lady with the hat could be reading the "Observer". Mind you, I get one paper on Saturday and I'm still trying to find time to read it all by the following Saturday so perhaps she is the same.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was bustling for sure! We were in London the three days they had gorgeous summer weather - so I think everyone was out! I don't remember if this was Sunday or Monday - you may be right!
She is reading the Observer so will probably not be rejoicing that UKIP have won the by Election in Rochester.

You probably don't know what i'm rambling on about

Great picture smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's all I can do to follow my own politics! smile

Thanks Bill!
Love that Friday quote!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that great!! Boom Shakalaka to you!
great inside look
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Chantal!
A timeless image, Elizabeth! Could almost be the 1950s rather than the 2000s
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Tom! Nice compliment!

Lovely 'street' view. Looking at the shoe style, the woman with the hat must be Elizabeth - no, not Elizabeth Buckalew, but Elizabeth Regina. She must be tired of all the huff in the palace.

Boom shakala, to you too smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Louis! You may be right... she does look quite relaxed here!
Thanks Louis!
There's so many little things going on here, all experiencing that moment in time in so many different ways, that's why I like this.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so very much Brian!!
People are out enjoying the spring weather after a long winter. I like the lady who has made a special effort in her pretty hat and jewelry.
Sorry you are still having internet problems Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was wonderful - there were so many people in the park that day! This lady was just charming!!
They were supposed to have the internet cleared up by now... smile
A timeless sort of picture. The lady with the hat could well have been there 40 years ago.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much Suzanne! I felt she, herself, was pretty timeless!
It was certainly all going on that day, Elizabeth...I remember I couldn't fully enjoy it because of what was coming the next day....But all was well. smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: A bustling place for sure. You were just wonderful, My Love!
Looks like Miss Marple is on a case, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ha! That's right!

Great shot, good on you for going out of your comfort zone to take it smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Anne! I keep trying! smile
You can't beat a good read if you can find the time
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Finding the time is the problem, isn't it Martin!
Looks like you have been hanging around Mr. Trimage...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: OH NO!! smile
Love the scene, remainds me a Woody Allen film!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Micha!! Well that's quite a compliment! smile
