They are into a hard turn Elizabeth... fantastic action with all the sand kicking up from the hooves....petersmile

and Travis seems to have everything under controlgrin
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much Peter!

Yes, Travis was a true pro!
brilliant timing here Elizabeth, i like how the lasso is frozen above his head, thundering action and the soil kicked up

HA, now we are talking, Absolute fabulous action here.

Just look how fast they are going
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Not all the steer were so active, but this guy wanted to play!
The horse and steer are almost one, Elizabeth. It took me a second to figure them out. HA! Perfect form, indeed, for all three.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I know what you mean!!! Thanks Ginnie!

Yee haw! Round 'em up!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: That's the plan!
One of the best known "Western" writers J.T.Edson , who wrote over 130 novels of the wild west was English being born and bred in Derbyshire. As far as I know he has never even been to the US. Zane Gray who wrote some pretty violent Westerns was a dentist in New York.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that funny?! There are monuments to Zane Gray out here... smile

This action shot is a winner in my books, Elizabeth. Perfect timing!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Beverly! So appreciated!
The best one so far Elizabeth, I'm overawed by the control he has over that horse with only his lower body.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so very much Brian! These horses pretty much just get the job done without much control from the cowboy at all!

Have you considered making a book of this series? They are stunning!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I have Bonnie. This photo is of Travis - I don't know if you caught it in the beginning, but I've dedicated this series to his memory- as he tragically died in a car accident in May. 2 months short of his 40th birthday. So, if I do a book- it will likely be for his family. But then there's also Billy Bob to consider- it was his 90th birthday we were celebrating.
