Neighbors

Little Aubrey was a wee bit afraid of the steer at first.

But by the end of the day, she was in the chute tapping them

on the rear with a stick to help keep them moving through!

Her Daddy - just the nicest guy - was working the gate

at the end of the arena.

He wasn't sure how he got stuck with that job...

but he did it without complaint- all day long.

Fine family shot, Elizabeth...the strong colours are an eye-grabber, as are the portable dunnies [toilets] in the background.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Ray! The port-a-potties could've been cloned out by someone with proper software! smile

Operating the gate is a very important job Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is indeed... if no one did it, the entire arena would fill up with steer! smile
Lovely picture E. Perhaps he enjoys doing the gate?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Bill! Well he might... kinda tiring in the hot sun I'd think, but it might be his thing!

You know he looks just like the typical guy who would have a truck like that. I can just hear the throbbing motor now! Good for Aubrey for getting involved.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Doesn't he! It did sound good, I must admit!
Yes- I think we were all pleased she got into it!
The look of concentration on her face is priceless, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think so, she seemed quite pleased with herself at the end of the day!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you kindly - quite a compliment from the color queen!
Keeper of the gate could also be symbolic honour smile

Her Dad seems very proud of her Elizabeth! Fine capture.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: As well he should be! Thanks Richard!
Lovely picture, great moustache he's got there, and as for the loos, well we all need them at times so let them be there.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Brian!
I suppose those are a necessity, but I avoid them at all costs!
