When I was a lad the goodies had white hats, the baddies had black ones
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: And who wore the baseball caps?

It looks as if others want to hear what is being said Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It does, Chad... I do wonder what was being discussed!

An iconic scene of the Wild West (well, apart from the shades; they never featured in my 1960s Westerns I saw smile )
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Nor the baseball caps I'd guess! smile
Wayne to Billy Bob, I hear there is an English man coming to see us, does this mean we have to drink tea and eat cucumber sandwiches.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Billy Bob to Wayne... Nah - let them eat cake!
We were brought up on Westerns so it is good to see that it is still a part of life in the US
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very much so, Bill!
And very fine looking steeds also.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Only the best, John!
A nice moment captured, Elizabeth, another good shot from this great series.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Frank!
Great shot of the two buddies chewing the fat, Elizabeth. Love how Wayne is steadying himself with his hand on Billy Bob's horse.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Beverly! I like that too!
I love each and everyone of these photos, Elizabeth. They all tell a story.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Pauline! I'm so glad you're enjoying all these - I didn't realize I had so many that I liked and wanted to share. Should have warned you all tha you might be bored to tears by the time the series is over! smile
even time for a chat..very interesting image Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Ronky!
Is this where the psychological bit comes in before the competition commences where one gets so wound up he's hopeless afterwards smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh I'm sure... smile
Everyone seems to be concerned here Elizabeth! Great capture.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes, I wish I could hear what was going on! Thank you!

I loved my cowboy hat as a child - I even wanted to sleep in it, or so my mother tells me smile

I do remember that I couldn't wear it to church, which was as big a pain as having to wear a dress to church......
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile That's so cute!!!

Oh I hated dresses too... and my grandmother marched me around a department store for hours, once, trying to find a dress I'd wear to church! I stood my ground and wore my pantsuit! smile
Like two cops in their cars talking...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh that's a terrific comparison!

Those horses are living statues...I esp like the palomino with the black trim..
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Aren't they wonderful! He's called a "Buckskin". Palomino's always have a blond main, Buckskins have the black!
