God bless him, to go so young...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very sad, Larry. I imagine him riding the finest horse through green pastures...

Wonderful portrait of a man who died too young.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Astrid.
Ohhhh, my condolences, Elizabeth. Do you know how he died?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Ginnie. He was in a car accident while working in Colorado.

He should still be enjoying his full life. Very sad
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes he should. But I suppose that would have been for our benefit. I'm sure where he is, he's very happy.
A very sad loss of someone so clearly full of life
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is Bill. Just tragic.

It's rather sad if this man died so young Elizabeth - a lovely shot
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Terribly sad for those he left behind. Thank you.
i dream ,it's me in the dream
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very kind, thank you

How sad Elizabeth, did you know him?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Just barely. He and his family are well known in Flagstaff, though. A fine, friendly bunch of ranchers. You will see his family in the photos to come - as they are all very good horsemen and women... His Mom- Duree, his Dad- Jim, sister Jada, and niece Chelsea will all be featured here in my roping pics. Travis and his family are almost always smiling in these shots.

I know it is about the loss of someone so young, but I cannot help being captivated by the look of that smart intelligent horse.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - he's hard to miss. A really fine horse.
Too young to die.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Indeed.
Lots of strings attached LOL
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Gotta keep everything together!
A great portrait of a man doing what he loved most!
You've made a fine tribute Elizabeth; it's a shockingly young age to die..........
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I feel honored to have caught so many good shots of Travis on his horse. I'm sure it's how he'd want to be remembered. And almost always with a smile on his face.
Thank you very much Martin.
Its great to see a real cowboy! Super shot Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: That he is, Sarah! Thank you.
Your fine shot of him will be a great memory of him doing what he loved best, I would think - sitting on a horse.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much Mary. I do believe this is how he'd want to be remembered.
That's a great shot of him, Elizabeth, such a sad loss.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Frank. Indeed it is.
Nice shot, sad news. No mention of what happened?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He was in a car accident while working in Colorado.
He does look happy here, Elizabeth. So sad that he was taken so young and didn't get the chance to continue doing what he loved for as many years as Billy Bob.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think he was always very happy when on a horse. It is very sad. Travis and his family are all good friends with Billy Bob and the whole lot. I think there are a lot of cowboys and cowgirls crying. But in the weeks to come, as I feature this series- you will see photos of his Mom- Duree, his Dad- Jim, sister- Jada, and his niece- Chelsea; all enjoying the roping competition. And usually with smiles on their faces.
A fine shot of this young man who died far too young, 40 is no age.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Brian- I have many good shots of Travis. I guess someone needed him to rope the unruly cattle in Heaven.
Absolutely brilliant shots, Elizabeth. You're totally right, Travis is certainly a very handsome man.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Pauline. He is indeed. I didn't really know him, but he and his family are well known in Northern Arizona as very friendly and fun people.
aaww this is a sweet image Elizabeth in so mant ways.. RIP in cowboy
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Ronky
So sad to see him going so young Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is Richard. But I imagine he's very happy where he is now.

That's no age at all! I hope his family get strength from each other.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I believe they are... as well as all of their many, many friends and the Flagstaff community.
This is a beautiful shot Elizabeth - thank you for sharing it and the intro to the series - very touching 😊
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Belinda. I'm so happy you appreciate it!
