Leon

I feel like featuring dogs this week.

Up first, is my nephew, Leon (aka "The Chihuahua, or "Peanut").  My sister Jennifer has him very well trained (and also very spoiled).  A certified therapy dog, he's extremely calm in therapy situations.  Children and old people alike are drawn to him.  He's really quite remarkable!  My sister, Juliet, a metaphysical healer, talks to him, and says he's very chatty!

Ok ,what's a metaphysical healer and do I need to see one.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well - in a nutshell:

"Metaphysical healing is based on the belief that negative mental patterns, left unchecked, can eventually result in physical disease or illness; and that the reversing of those negative mental patterns into positive patterns can in turn lead to healing."

Based heavily in quantum physics, she believes that we are all just particles of energy, and each of us a part of each other. Therefore, she can perform a healing on you from her home in Colorado - and you can be treated while in your home in England, because energy flows and grows over distance.

While we can all benefit from metaphysical healing, it really begins within yourself. If you don't believe it will work for you- that creates negative energy, which can block the positive, healing energy. Likewise, believing in the mind-body connection opens up infinite opportunities to heal yourself.

Does that help? smile

Well go with your feelings Elizabeth. Oh, I see that you have.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I always try to... smile
Very, very interesting, Elizabeth (after reading your reply to Mick), because I'm doing a lot of reading right now on metaphysical healing...the power of the mind and intent, the use of pendulums, crystals, etc. I have a feeling I'd really like this little fella!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh how fortuitous! smile You can't help but love Leon!

The dog looks, sorry, a bit strange to me - and I wouldn't like to meet him, but after having read all your information and the comments I can now trust and rely in him. I personally am a bit sceptical considering metaphysical healing.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile He's an itty bitty thing... he curls up in kids' laps so they can read to him - helps with kids who are having trouble, as he doesn't correct or judge. He helps kids to truly get in touch with their inner feelings. He won't sit in your lap unless he senses you are truly calm INSIDE. Then he'll sit with you all day! Metaphysical healing is not for everyone!

On metaphysical healing I cannot comment but I do like your photo of the chirpy chihuahua Leon. He looks perfect among the leaves.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He's a happy little bitty bit!
I talk to my cats and they understand every word I say. Sadly they also completely ignore what I am telling them
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Well - that's a cat for you!

Thanks for the picture sis! You perfectly captured that panicked look on his face when he's trying to find me! And for those that wonder...when he talks to our sister, he usually tells her how funny it is when I'm mad at him.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile You were actually right in front of him! I cropped out your hand! smile
I'm glad he thinks your funny when you're mad!
Loved this click. You captured the moment live. Am an animal / nature lover too. Especially Dogs.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Antony! I'm so glad you do! Yes the world is so much better with little critters around!
