Maybe he does have a secret name - maybe a mustang?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He was gelded.... But the native Americans do let them just roam about. He'd probably like to be called mustang!

The backlighting makes him magical, Elizabeth...like your g'ma having seen the Light!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh I love that idea!!!
I'm sitting on a plane in Atlanta right now thinking of you! smile It's 33 degrees! What's up with that?! Not living up to "hot-lanta" standards! smile
The heat was hot....one of the immortal lines from a song lyric

He looks to be in fine condition; very nicely groomed. Looks like I could be towards that way again this year. I've booked to fly to Denver so I'm expecting a grand loop through Colordo and probably Arizona and Utah. Any good condo vacation rental companies you can recommend?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He did seem well cared for. You know- I'm ashamed to say I've no idea of vacation rentals. Could look into it for you sometime soon....
He has a beautiful looking face.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He was so gentle- he let me pet him for quite a while!
very good macro
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Chantal!

The bits of grey hairs reminds me of Frank, love the song.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Soft and sweet!
A great shot Elizabeth, I like the back lighting smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Martin!
The light through the hairs under its head is really attractive.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Brian - I was working to capture exactly that!
A well "looked" after horse...for a fine image Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think so, Ronky! Thank you!

I LOVE this and one of my favorite songs, I played it 3 times....
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you Robbyne! I'm so glad!!! GREAT song!
Very nicely combed hair Elizabeth!
Fine capture.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He knew his portrait would be taken, apparently... smile
Lovely donkey.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He does look very donkey like... may have some mule in his history- but the rest of him was a horse! Small ears, streamlined body... smile
