Sure looks like a lot of heavy stuff there. Love those spurs. Great capture!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: No kidding!! Such strong animals they are! Thanks, Steven!
Il me semble que cela doit être assez lourd. Jolies photos.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I can't imagine! Thank you, Martine!
Its certainly a lot of stuff Elizabeth, on a hot day too. Nice pics.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It must be so heavy! Thank you, Frank!

Excellent images, Elizabeth.

It is an elaborate harness, but there is no load attached at this point.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Ray! He'd been a member of a four horse train - pulling an old stage coach! He'd done his job, and was ready to go home!

It definitely seems to be looking to you, Elizabeth, for help! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He does!!! Poor guy!

They might both be asking that.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Probably!
The poor thing is probably wondering why they are cluttered up with all that stuff.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: No doubt - but I suppose he has his job to do...
I so miss working next door to those big draught horses. When dressed up for the sleigh rides, the brass would be gleaming! Lovely to see again!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They are certainly a proud, handsome type.

Hahah!! In a while, maybe! Water and hay awaits!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He was ready!
a wonderful portrait of this magnificent horse Elizabeth... is that a ladies side saddle by chance?
....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you! No - he was one of four pulling a stage coach.
It looks really bright and hot, he's working just standing there! Great pictures, Elizabeth smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: He was being so patient - waiting to get in his trailer for the ride home.
I like the color treatment...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Larry! A bit of fun!
