I really like those branches hanging down.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Chad!
Another perfect example of building so close to the water, like yesterday. This just could not be done here. A building that close to the water would not last a year here, even one built of stone.

Your photograph is beautiful. You can feel the quiet and serenity.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's actually the same building... the other side! smile Frank said these lakes to flood on occasion - so I'm not sure how these old buildings withstand it.
Thank you so much, Care!

"I see no ships...." I now know that this is Winderemre so plenty of boats of on it usually. I did hear that someone what to put ten large yachts on Grasmere... NOOO!!!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile Yes... Just a few buried in the mist!
NOOOOO is right!!
Great image and a most appropriately titled song to go with it. This reminds me that I still have a Deep Purple LP from way back when I haven't played for a long time.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Brian! Do you really? That might be worth something now!
very strong composition....such a peaceful spot
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you very much, Alan! Much appreciated!
