Love these misty shots lately. January IS misty! Time to reflect, nature is asleep.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Bonnie! I can't say I ever get tired of Arizona's sunshine... but it's certainly enjoyable to photograph some different skies and lighting! Thank you!
I love a misty view...this is a good one!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was definitely misty that day!

Excellent!

I like the second more than the first, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Ray!
That misty background is great.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was wonderful, wasn't it!

An enchanting atmosphere captured here with the fog!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks very much, Steven!
The second this popped up, Elizabeth, I thought I was somewhere in the Netherlands with all that fog! I love it.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: smile I can only imagine!! Thank you, Ginnie!

Both images are full of interest, but the secondary image has just the edge for me.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Alan!

Fabulous pictures, Elizabeth. I think you were "short of eyes" all the times smile.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Absolutely! My niece was visiting this weekend... showing her the Grand Canyon I told her of your saying "short of eyes" - she agreed it fit perfectly!
A very British greyness
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - lovely in its way!
Très belle prise de vue !
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Claudine!

In the second shot, all the boats bar one, has fled. Or the mist swallowed them. The mist creates great atmosphere for the pictures, though.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: The mist swallowed them... it was a great beast! smile
Two great images Elizabeth, the sense of the chilliness of the day comes over so well.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Brian! I appreciate your critique!

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Peter - I do, too!
Nice atmosphere, Elizabeth smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Martin!
Mist adds a lovely light, doesn't it?
