Really excellent...especially the first image!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Ray! I just LOVE all the color in South West architecture and art!
for some reason, the top shot gave a strong SE Asian feel to me, Elizabeth. i wonder about the origins of those carpets in the second shot.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yeah? I wouldn't have associated the color turquoise and Hatch chili peppers with Asia... but I don't know anything about Asia!
I didn't go into this little market, so I can't say...
Jolies couleurs pour la décoration de la troisième photo.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is pretty, isn't it?

Colorful scenes with great works of art!!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's one of the few towns I actually enjoy wandering around markets in...
These are great Elizabeth, especially the main one, I really like the turquoise colour.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Frank! That turquoise color was very eye catcher!

Lots of interesting and ethnic looking things here Elizabeth. Those carpets look nice
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I love Mexican things... My first house, North of Phoenix, was decorated such - lots of color and Mexican craftsmanship
So aesthetically pleasing, Elizabeth...each and every scene!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I just love Mexican art and craftsmanship! So colorful! Our house in New River (just north of Phoenix) was decorated such... I'll give Matt one thing - he was great at house decor - he painted all the walls inside different colors - BRIGHT colors - but then white washed them to make them look old and faded. It was beautiful!

Great shots, Elizabeth. Those colours. So many details and so much to see here. What a wonderful place to be.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Astrid! I do love all the colors in Mexican and Southwest decor and art. I think you and Ginnie would really love a few days in Santa Fe! I'm making a list of all to show you... Grand Canyon... two stepping at the Museum Club... Sedona (of course!)... Santa Fe... smile
Such exuberant colour E. A feast for the eyes
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't it wonderful! I really love Mexican art and decor!

The chilies hanging up to dry are an indication of the climate.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Absolutely, Chad!

In Hungary, you will see bushels of paprika drying like the chillies in the top shot. From your pics I can say Santa Fè is worth a visit.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh Louis - I can definitely recommend Santa Fe if you ever make it to the South West here!
Love the warmth of these images Elizabeth.....I really get a sense of the place smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Martin! I can't recommend Santa Fe highly enough - if you ever make it to the South West!
Cultures blend here with Mexican, Asian and NAmer Tribal all together. Fabulous place to walk around with your jaw on the sidewalk.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Absolutely right, Mary! It's a favorite spot for us!
I would love a walk around here Ellie.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm sure you would, Michael!!
> These colors are so pleasing to the eyes. My favorite is the top image.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Aren't they lovely! I really love the colorful art and decor of Mexico! Thank you, Jacqauelyn!

These are probably some good- luck- charms we can need in our daily life?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I don't really know... mostly they're just every day things in a Mexican life - that seem really cool to tourists! smile
What an interesting trio of pictures. New Mexico and Santa Fe featured on Aerial America last week, it was more interesting because you have drawn our attention to it on here several times over recent months so I got a good idea of what the places look like.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Brian!
Oh that's fabulous! It's a wonderful place - I just love it there!
