Jolies bottes originales.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They are!
the scratched up wood looks good with the boots, Elizabeth. these would be practical in your part of the country, i suppose. obviously they are not seen in Singapore smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was a nice display in this shop! Yes - we see them a lot around here! Frank and I both have a pair.

"...one of these days..."
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: "... are ya ready boots... start walkin'...."
You're bringing back lots of memories for me, Elizabeth, from when I had my own pair of cowboy boots and LOVED going country-2-step dancing after my 1990 divorce. I got rid of them before moving to the Netherlands but Astrid and I LOVE to country-2-step, several times a week...in the comfort of our own apartment. smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: When you come to Flagstaff - we'll take you to The Museum Club and you can two step with real cowboys in a real cowboy bar! smile XOX

Love it, Elizabeth. These are real pieces of art. I once saw on TV how they make these boots. I was glued to the tube.
Did you buy any for yourself??
(Great music with it)
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Amazing works of art aren't they?!

The song was, to my mind, and early expression of feminism.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh absolutely!
That looks like lovely soft leather.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh yes - only the most comfortable!
I remember that song so well. I like the fine details and textures captured here Friendship
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It's a good one!
Thank you, Ruthie!
I've always thought it was only men who wore these lovely boots but it seems you ladies wear tham as well, indeed the top pair are more feminine in colour I guess.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh no - women love cowboy boots... They make some beautiful ones...
Mine have a turquoise colored leather around the top:

I have never tried and also think I can't wear long boots. Hiking boots are already not for me. I do hiking shoes. They do look like they have been made with care.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Cowboy boots are really only good for walking and riding... NEVER for hiking or running! They're ridiculous for those activities!
lots of finely stitched decor in these wonderful leather boots Elizabeth....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They're very pretty!
lots of finely stitched desing in these wonderful leather boots Elizabeth....petersmile
wow! Some awesome designs and leathers. I dug out my old cowboy boots a few years ago and couldn't even get them on. Who knew!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Some are so beautiful!
Your feet had changed that much?!
No doubt you have yourself a pair... or more!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Of course!!!

I remember they were very popular in England 20 - 30 years ago..........great shots Elizabeth! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Really? I can't imagine cowboy boots in England! Of course, I grew up with them in Wyoming...
