This is brilliant!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Ray!
i wonder if this door/window is within a private property (a courtyard for instance?), as it does not seem to offer robust security, Elizabeth. i do like the colours.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was in a courtyard in a commercial district. The window would be in a shop... but I didn't go in so can't say if it actually opens up?

I like this very much, Elizabeth. It is wonderful that colour and material can give you a feel where this picture is taken. I think the window slides down... there is a a sliding thingy for it..... maybe now it is "painted" shut.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Astrid!
I've not seen one of these - but I like the idea of a window sliding down so you can lean out over the top of it!

The blue of the woodwork looks good against the pink of the adobe. Time for some TLC by the look of it.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Isn't that a pretty contrast?!
This image really gives me a sense of the blistering heat........I like the simplicity of this Elizabeth! smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Martin! I'm glad you appreciate it!

Santa Fe adobe. Quite a place.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I love all the colors of the south west!
An extremely good image Elizabeth, you and Frank are both using shadows to good effect today.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Brian!!
A very skilled bit of exposure juggling here, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Graeme! It is hard to balance out the harsh south west sun at times - thank you for your acknowledgement!
Great colour contrast!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Lovely, isn't it! Thank you!

the dappled tan is indeed a desert tone
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Well yes it is! Nice observation!
