Yes...I love the atmospherics you have caught, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Ray!!
it feels like a deafening downpour, Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh I love your description, Ayush! So glad I could evoke that feeling!

This really captures a mood! I think I would like to sleep in!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I'm really glad it does... go ahead - it's my favorite thing to do on a day like that! smile

Do I detect a damp day on the river?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Misty with that "fine rain what wets ya..." As my Manc' husband would say!

Loos to be a very still day on the water. I guess the roof about the deck is normally to keep the sun of the craft rather than to act as a rain shelter.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Not much wind... but mist with that "fine rain what wets ya..." as the Manc' would say!

There is a perfect softness about this picture, and I wonder like Ayush if it is raining
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Lisl! I'm so pleased you think so... Yes it was misty with a fine rain!
For some reason it puts me in mind of The African Queen....one of my favourite films
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Hmmmm.... I guess I can see that! But without the leaches!

It looks like somewhere in South East Asia, but I suppose the trees give it away.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I can see that smile
I like the sense of very slight mist to this, I guess this is some sort of covered boat shelter.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks, Bonnie! I'm so glad!
I guess so - I've never lived near water so it's all unfamiliar to me!
Ha ha. Vacations are like that a few months on.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Indeed! But a rainy day on vacation is better than a sunny day at work!
i have dreamed about places like this a few times Elizabeth... what a serene atmosphere....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Me too, Peter! Thank you!
The atmosphere is wonderful, Elizabeth smile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Martin! I loved it!

here, the flat tones and the rising fog make a fine image
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so kindly, Harry!
