I live in Beautiful Northern Arizona, where I have a wide variety of subjects to photograph.  I love nature and wildlife photography. Up here at 7,000 feet elevation we enjoy all four seasons... snow in winter, a riot of wildflowers in the spring, monsoon storms in the summer and the beautiful gold and red autumn colors of the changing aspens, cottonwoods and oaks.  And if I feel like a change... I've got the Sonoran Desert two hours to the south... Vegas five hours to the west... The Grand Canon 90 minutes to the north... and Monument Valley three hours north east...  I really shouldn't want for natures marvels!

I've learned much in the past few years from my ShutterChance comrades.  There are some amazing photographers on this site... and one of the best is my husband Frank Croston  (blueskys.shutterchance.com ), whom I met right here on this site.

While I love my Canon EOS Rebel, some of the photos I post will have been taken with my old Minolta 35mm.  It was a fantastic camera, that I didn't really know how to use properly.  I think it's a testament to it's quality when the images would come out so well- certainly not a testament to my skill!  I also have a little Canon PowerShot G9 which I was fortunate to purchase from the esteemed Professor Tom Wilson (tomwilson.shutterchance.com ).
