Looks like a lovely night and a wonderful adventure.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: We did well... the day we left the area they got a cold snap and lots of rain!
You captured the evening Elizabeth, nicely done.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, sir!
Interestingly, Elizabeth, we were never out-n-about in Savannah at night, so thanks for showing what it looks like.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh - it's quite lovely - the monuments are all lit up... I may show some of those next week! Thank you, Ginnie!

Crabs, oysters, all very appealing!

A nice picture too
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Indeed - although Frank doesn't like seafood... we did have a lovely meal at a Marina that week.

This is very well done, Elizabeth. Love the "starlight" on the boat. Nightlife always looks nice with the lights.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Astrid! It's always fun trying to get a good night scene without a tripod! smile It was chugging up the Savannah River - so I guess they have to have those spotlights?

That would look startling from the air, too - all that light
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh I bet you're right!

Hot and steamy? I'm guessing that the big building is a hotel? I imagine that it is rather pricey.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It was quite cool, and a bit misty... smilernYes, that's a Westin on the other side of the river. We po' folk stayed on the south side! smile

I am sure that Joe’s is a good place to eat. I have never heard of a ship called an express.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It seemed quite popular!rnI can't say I pay much attention to ships.... but I just Googled her name, and learned she was just at Shell Haven at the mouth of the Thames in GB and is on her way to France!

Oysters or crabs - you are spoiled for choice.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Mmmmm... I am more of a Scallop person! smile
Merci pour ce beau partage , c'est très beau
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: You're welcome - and thank you, Claudine!
I like the sound of Joe's crab shack
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It seemed quite popular!
Great night photography Elizabeth. the Crabs sound appetising but not the Oysters, I'd have given them a miss.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks Brian! I'm more of a Scallop person myself!
I love the beauty of the night lights popping against the dark. Our Joe's closed last year. :-(
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thanks so much, Ruthie! Oh - I'm sorry.... Boooo!

Great pictures Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Ha! smile Thanks so much, Anne!
Crab cakes are famous in that area of the south. Yummy!
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: So I hear!!! They were good... I had them at another restaurant and was super happy!
