An era of elegance...
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Oh yes - nicely put!

Nice architectural details, but overall rather plain construction for the Southern Gothic city of Savannah.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes this one was a bit, maybe the reason I liked it - the lines were so clean!
J'aime les couleurs de la première photo.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you, Martine!
Une maison très accueillante !
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is, isn't it! I like the clean lines!

They are fine looking properties. I especially like the lamp standards.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes, they are! The lamps are kind of classy, I think.

The architecture here appeals, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: This particular place had more clean lines than many of the others - I like that!

What a lovely set of homes. I especially like the close-up of the two doors. It makes a very balanced, appealing composition.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Thank you so much, Beth!

Fine salmon coloured buildings Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I like the color contrasted with the blue green of the Spanish Moss in the trees!
I have a feeling I would like this place

Providing they are not all carrying guns grin
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I think you would!rnWell, they may be... rnI think you'd find it steeped in British history, as well. Monuments everywhere - and one had two canons that had been confiscated from the British. Frank said "Well... so those are ours...", as if he wanted them returned or something...
wonderful row housing Elizabeth....petersmile
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I like this place!

so very beautiful
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: A simple elegance to these.
Test: This is my 3rd comment today so...I also commented on Wednesday...but as I recall what I said was that you NAILED the feel of this iconic place.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Hi Ginnie! Thank you for all your efforts... everything's such a mess, I feel so sorry for John C. trying to fix things up for us, and now having to work out all the kinks. I'm being patient - I know how this all goes having dealt with it at work multiple times. Thank you so much for your comment!

Somewhat like a mouth organ (harmonica). Or the smiles that you alluded to.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I can see what you mean, Louis! Thank you!
