It looks almost comical with that row of tiny verandahs, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Understated, but handsome...

The symmetry of facades in the first photo create a nice sense of rhythm!!

All very different to the South West. What a grand row of houses, though; I live the porches.

I guess these properties are very sought after, Elizabeth
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: I would think so, Lisl - we didn't look into the real estate costs!

Elegant style, it looks Victorian.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: It is - I believe that's how it would be categorized!
It is a wonderful place to see.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Really a great place to walk around!
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is the book I mentioned yesterday. If you haven't read it you should. Savannah is almost treated as a character. I read it twice.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes I have! And I've also watched the movie!
This are lovely houses, I seem to recall seeing buildings like this in period American films and documentaries.
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Yes - very "East Coast"!

It looks so elegant - are we going to see inside?
Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: Very much so! I'm afraid not - these are all private residences! The day before this I did show inside one that is a Bed & Breakfast...

Elizabeth Croston Buckalew: They are, indeed! Thank you, Peter!
Very distinctive architecture...
